People, please! this is a free discussion page, not a battlefield!
Obviously when we say discussion, this is supposed to be about this site and contents.
@Nick-Adventure New oleds won't remain in static screen if you fall asleep, it goes black after 5 min of static screen. so it doesn't have that issue anymore.
I have LG Oled C9 (2019) myself and its great! best picture and color. best browser, the only thing aout WebOS is can not install VPN on it.
@raf696 You are ignoring "OLED and LCD" fact, In theory, black screen means pixels off on OLED TVs only! OLED TVs has no backlight, if your TV is a LCD (including LED and QLEDs), showing black doesn't necessarily consumes less power because the backlight is always ON, these TVs lighten up the dark room when TV is ON even showing solid black image. so, you shouldn't expect less power consumption on LED/LCD TV in dark screen.
Guys, we created this thread to separated comments that are not related to a movie title. Its obvious that comments are supposed to be related to watchsomuch.
If you want political discussion we can create a political one too, honestly we are flattered that you feel like home here and want to spend your time, express your political ideas or maybe follow war news here..., but come one! this is a movie site, lets stick to our main purpose here OK?
